Big Baby can be shy at first and takes time to warm up to new people and environments, but with patience, consistency, and kindness, he begins to show his sweet personality.
Big Baby is ABV+ (Avian Bornavirus positive), so his future adopter will need to be knowledgeable about the condition and committed to providing ongoing avian veterinary care and careful monitoring. Many ABV+ birds can still live happy lives with proper care, low stress, good nutrition, and close attention to any health changes. Because of his condition, he may need to be separated from other birds depending on the setup and guidance of an avian veterinarian.
He also does have some feather plucking, which is common in parrots that have experienced stress, medical challenges, or major life changes. Big Baby will need a calm environment, plenty of enrichment, and a family willing to help him continue building confidence at his own pace.
