***IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ: Foster/Adoption Process. The application form is below:

1. Please complete this application as thoroughly as possible. The more information you provide, the quicker we can respond.
2. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a video appointment to meet your family and tour your home.
3. If we find that you are a fit for one of our birds, we will schedule a time for you to visit the rescue (meet-and-greet) and meet your potential adoption.
4. All Adoptions require a minimum of two in-person visits to the rescue, depending on the bird, before you can bring the bird home.
5. If the appointments go well and you and the director feel it’s a good fit, you will complete and sign our foster/adoption contract.
6. All birds have an adoption fee that must be paid in full before the bird leaves the rescue. These fees are non-negotiable. We accept Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, or CashApp. We do not accept checks.

***The Charlie Brown Bird Rescue reserves the right to make the final decision if any person/family visiting will or will not foster/adopt.

Foster Applications:

• We will include a cage and carrier (if we have them to lend) with perches, toys, and other supplies. We will also provide two meals worth of our custom dry-mix food for the bird(s) and show you where/how to mix these ingredients.
• The bird will have a veterinary exam before being placed in your care (unless other arrangements are made beforehand). If the bird requires additional veterinary care while in your possession, you must notify us immediately!!
• Financially, we require you to pay for the food for the bird(s) while in your care. However, you are welcome to pay for other things if you would like.
