Chahlie is a charismatic Yellow-headed Amazon who recently arrived at The Charlie Browns Rescue and is currently settling in. He still needs to complete his full veterinary exam before he becomes officially available for adoption, but we’re already getting to know his big personality!
This boy definitely speaks fluent Amazon. He loves to chat, throws in some classic “dinosaur noises,” and carries the typical Amazon sass that fans of the species adore. Chahlie has shown the most curiosity toward men, but he has interacted comfortably with both our male and female staff members.
We’re still learning his preferences and habits as he decompresses, so more information will be added soon. Stay tuned for updates once his vet exam is complete and we know more about the type of home he’ll thrive in!
Noise-wise, he’s exactly what you’d expect from an Amazon — lively, expressive, and not shy about sharing his thoughts. He spends his days observing everything around him and making sure we don’t forget he’s the star of the room.
