Petey & Sammie

Blue Crowned Conure & Ringneck – Must be adopted together but will be in separate cages.
Age: Supposedly 14 – 15 years old
Sex: Surgically Sexed Male

Petey and Sammie are an unlikely duo, but their bond is strong and they must be adopted together. Petey is a handsome Blue-crowned Conure with a curious, thoughtful personality. He can be a little reserved at first, but he steps up nicely and warms up with patience. Sammie is a male Indian Ringneck with a similar temperament — gentle, cautious, and full of potential with the right family.

Sammie recently plucked some of his chest feathers, but the good news is they’re already beginning to grow back. With a stable, loving environment and consistent care, he is expected to continue healing and thriving. Both Petey and Sammie are believed to be around 15 years old and are ready for a calm, understanding home where they can feel secure.

Petey serves as Sammie’s emotional support buddy — Sammie is deeply attached to Petey, while Petey lovingly tolerates his devotion. Because they are different species, they will need to live in separate cages, but they must remain together in the same home to preserve their special bond. We know welcoming two birds with separate housing is a bigger commitment, but for the right family, Petey and Sammie will bring double the companionship, double the heart, and a truly special connection to their new flock.
