Kit & Kat are a bonded pair of cockatiels. I won’t say it’s impossible, but currently, they don’t allow any contact. Kat likes to come out of her cage every day and interact with the other cockatiels. She isn’t a strong flyer but does well enough to get around. One of her wings appears to have been injured at some point in her life. At bedtime, when she sees the other birds being put away, if you give her space, she will go back into her cage, if you need to, she isn’t hard to catch. Kit doesn’t like to come out as much. It took months before coming out the first time, and most days, she would choose to stay in her cage. We do leave the door open to give her the option. Kit also isn’t a strong flyer due to the lack of doing it, she will occasionally go back into her cage by herself but may need to be caught. They both love to eat and get along with other cockatiels. They would do well in an environment with plenty of opportunity to be out especially with other birds and maybe with enough time and work they may even let you interact with them.
